Why do you use bamboo sticks for the popsicles?

  • It’s a more eco friendly option then pine wood that is normally used.
  • Bamboo is the quickest growing plant on earth and a green replacement of wood.
  • By using bamboo we don’t destroy the forest, the bamboo clump will generate a new clums/poles every year
  • Bamboo is a better and more sustainable, compare to wood from trees.

Our bamboo sticks come from a small village in Jogya near Borobudur temple.

The sticks are handmade by women and are sold to us as a fair trade.
